CARIB Brewery partners with Stephen Marley to create Rockstone Tonic Wine

It’s a game changer for the Caribbean and our culture!

CARIB Brewery has partnered with musical icon Stephen Marley to create a future iconic beverage: Rockstone Tonic Wine. It’s the first tonic wine with POWAROOTS™ – a powerful mix with Bois Bande, Maca Root and Horny Goat Weed that helps you “Reach the Longtime”. The journey started when Stephen and CARIB decided to partner, after being introduced by a mutual friend. Stephen wanted to collaborate on a beverage that he would be proud to endorse. After a lot of brainstorming, they settled on a Tonic Wine. There was an increasing demand for drinks that were smoother and tasted great but were still strong and affordable. CARIB and Stephen saw an opportunity to combine two worlds: a tonic wine that’s potent enough yet surprisingly vibrant, smooth and mellow. They enlisted the help of international branding agency Thirst Craft in Scotland to create the new brand and CARIB chose the name Rockstone which, of course, is the name of one Stephen’s most iconic songs.

CARIB Brewery and Stephen were also determined that the bottle would look iconic. So, they enlisted the world-renowned design agency, Brandology, Amsterdam. The result was a sleek bottle with a distinctive green, yellow and red label, topped off by a stunning gold cap. The Canadian agency, Berners Bowie Lee created the launch “campaign “Reach for The Longtime”, featuring music from international artists Banx and Ranx. The campaign is about to enter its second stage, showing Stephen Marley as he works through the night in the studio. CARIB and Stephen will work with some of the Caribbean’s hottest artists and acclaimed US Director Gil Green in the new year. Over the summer, Rockstone has been a massive hit in clubs and at music festivals. CARIB isn’t surprised. They were confident that the combination of POWAROOTS™ and the unusually smooth, highly drinkable taste would be a winner. As CARIB Brewery’s Category Manager Antron Forte says, “For Rockstone, the party’s just getting started. We’re ready to Reach The Longtime ourselves”
